School Visits to the Museum

Visit Pollock’s Toy Museum Croydon with your school

Aimed predominantly at Year 1 pupils, our workshop leader will show a range of toys for pupils to handle and discuss plus a talk where pupils will learn when the toys were made, how they are different from today’s toys, why different materials were used, and what the toys can tell us about the children who played with them in the past. There will also be an opportunity to see the toys on display in the museum.

The cost for the workshops is £240 for up to 30 primary school children (accompanied by adults on a 1:4 ratio). Sessions last 1 hour. Please note that there are nearby public toilets in the shopping centre but no toilet is available in the museum.
