Pollock’s Toy Museum at Museum of the Home

Pollock’s Toy Museum returns to Hoxton with an exhibition of toys and toy theatres at Museum of the Home, just round the corner from the location where Benjamin Pollock’s theatrical print shop stood.

The exhibition includes

• original toy theatres from the museum collection
• dollhouse furniture reflecting domestic life
• Christmas gifts children might have been lucky enough to receive between 1900-1980
• toys from Africa, Asia and South America
• traditional street toys which would have been a common sight in London streets during the 1900 to 1920s
